Financial Aid Meeting
Parents of graduates from the Class of 2018 should plan to attend an informative college financial aid meeting on Monday, Nov. 6, 5:30 p.m., in the library. Representatives from Paris JC will be on hand to offer tips for preparing for post-graduation, and the PHS counselors office will help fill out FAFSA forms for parents who bring their 2016 tax information with them.
The first nine weeks grading period ends Friday, Oct. 20, and academic progress reports will be distributed the following week. These reports determine UIL eligibility (no pass, no play). Tutorials are available each morning, 8:05-8:30 a.m.
Thursday Night School
Students who have excessive absences should plan to attend Thursday Night School to make up those absences. Download dates and further details.
Paris ISD uses School Messenger to provide timely communications. If you have a child attending PISD, you are automatically in the database and will receive phone notifications. To enhance our ability to accurately deliver information on activities and emergencies, we kindly request that you create your own contact preference profile.

The Owl will be publishing its 105th edition during the 2017-2018 school year. Yearbooks will go on sale November 10 in Room 1411. They will be discounted to $45 on November 10 ONLY. Yearbooks will be delivered at the signing party in May 2018. The Owl is advised by Savannah Abbott. She can be reached at email@example.com.

Pictures for grades 9-11 will be October 26 during English classes.

Early Birds Get Discount
on This Year's Owl
The 2017-2018 Paris Owl yearbook goes on sale for the early bird discount of $45 on November 10 at 7 a.m. As of 8:30 a.m. November 10, yearbooks will be on sale for $55. The price will again go up to $65 from December 3- 16. December 16 is the final day to purchase a yearbook. This year's yearbook, to be delivered May 2018, is something you don’t want to miss! Stop by Room 1411 between 7 and 8:30 a.m. on November 10 for the special discount!
