Homecoming Dress Up Days

The theme for this year's Homecoming is Candy Land, where it's always sweet to be a Wildcat.  To get everyone in the right frame of mind for the game vs. Tyler Chapel Hill on Friday, Sept. 11, special Dress Up Days are on the week's agenda.

  • Tuesday:  Game on! (favorite board/video game character)
  • Wednesday: Put a lid on the Bulldogs! (favorite hat)
  • Thursday: Fast Forward past the Bulldogs! (best grandma/grandpa garb)
  • Friday: Spirit Day (wear your Wildcat spirit gear)

Road Construction Advisory

Road crews are working to install a left turn lane on Loop 286 in front of Paris High School.  In the meantime, be advised that the two south entrances to the campus off the loop will be closed during the school day.  Please use the gates off Jefferson Road and Collegiate Drive.

Cell Phone Policy

The rules haven't changed concerning cell phone use during the school day.  It's allowed by students only before school and during lunch in the cafeteria, but the consequences have changed.  Violators will have their phones taken, the phone will be kept overnight, and a $15 fine will be charged.

2015 Roster: to be posted

2015 Prospectus: The 2014 season was expected to be a rebuilding year for the Cats, picked to finish dead last in a very rugged district race.  They squeezed into the postseason by upsetting Atlanta in a play-in game for the fourth seed, then knocked off Crandall and Tyler Chapel Hill to advance to the regional quarterfinals.  Veteran head coach Bill Sikes hopes his club can take that momentum into the 2015 season.  He returns versatile sophomore Phillip Sikes and junior first baseman Philip Nance.  Seniors Drew Helberg and Casey Reavis return in the outfield, while juniors Tyler Sanders and Payton Barrios split time at catcher last year.  West Point signee Jake Clark has departed, but the pitching corps should be solid with Sikes, Nance, Reavis, Helberg, and senior Kaden Callihan.
