I began working at Paris High School as a teacher and coach in 2013. I was with Paris I.S.D. in another capacity from 1998. Currently, I teach English I to 9th grade students and love doing it!
I worked at Bridgeport ISD for one school year as a volleyball and basketball coach, and I taught English 1 and English 3.
I have been married for 31 years to my husband, Todd. We have one child, Erica, who has two master’s degrees and is currnetly an assistant principal at Princeton I.S.D. We have an AKA registered Labrador named Slough Buster Gracie Mae. She is a ball of energy! She loves to go duck hunting and retrieve. My husband and I built a home near Blossom, Texas on 24+ acres, and we love watching the deer, birds/hummingbirds, and other wildlife. When it is warm enough, I enjoying boating activities. When it is a bit cooler, my husband and I enjoy fishing and hunting.
I previously coached volleyball and basketball. I have always loved sports, and played basketball at Paris High School. One of my favorite things to do is watch the Wildcats and Ladycats play basketball. In my time away from Paris High School, my family and I like to fish, camp out, and ride in our boat. I also enjoy bird watching in the spring and summer months.
My favorite novel is "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. The following link has the audiobook. If you would like to listen, click here: https://librivox.org/pride-and-prejudice-by-jane-austen-2/
