I complete many hours of professional development each year, primarily in areas pertaining to writing, Future Problem Solving, and techniques of teaching Gifted and Talented students. My primary source of PD comes from the TCU APSI Conference, which is a 4-day conference that provides 30 hours of training for AP teachers.
This is my 11th year as a teacher at Paris ISD, with this being my sixth year at PHS. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. My sincere goal is to help my students in any way I can.
I spent almost six years as a sports reporter and editor at The Paris News. I try to apply that experience in the classroom as often as I can.
As you can tell from my previous occupation, I love sports! I like a lot of different sports, such as professional and college football, baseball, basketball, and soccer.
