Students who are failing any course are are required to attend tutorials until they have met the passing standards in that class. Paris High distributes academic progress reports to students at regular intervals throughout the school year.
Most teachers are available for students to receive tutorial help before school. Students are allowed to enter the main hallways for tutorial help from 8:00 to 8:05 AM. Once they arrive in the teacher's classroom, they must remain until the 8:30 bell.
Students who need to make up a test may schedule, at the teacher's discretion, a time and date to complete the exam under guidance of a proctor assigned by the main office.
Each month Paris High staff recognizes a student who goes above and beyond the norm of student expectations to help make the school a better place for learning. The February winner is Payne Couts. See monthly winners on our Students of the Month page.
