Students received their three-weeks academic progress reports on Tuesday during their second-period classes. The current grading cycle concludes with semester exams scheduled this Friday, Monday, and Tuesday.
All PISD campuses will be closed for the Christmas holidays beginning Wednesday, Dec. 20. School resumes with the second semester on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Paris High School competes in UIL District 14-4A in all sports except football, soccer, swimming and powerlifting. Other schools in District 14-4A are Atlanta, Liberty-Eylau, North Lamar, Pittsburg, and Pleasant Grove.
PHS competes in District 7-4A-Division 1 for football along with Anna, Liberty-Eylau, North Lamar, Quinlan Ford, Pittsburg, and Princeton.
PHS competes in District 11-4A for soccer along with Bonham, Nevada Community, North Lamar, and Princeton and in District 12-5A for swimming along with Highland Park, Lovejoy, Royse City, Celina, Gunter, North Lamar, and Pottsboro. Powerlifting is a non-UIL event sanctioned by the Texas High School Powerlifting Association, where Paris competes in Division 2, Region 3.
