Paris ISD uses School Messenger to provide timely communications. If you have a child attending PISD, you are automatically in the database and will receive phone notifications. To be eligible to run for Student Council and/or class officers, a student must meet the following criteria for the two semesters immediately prior to the election:
The student may appeal to the principal and the sponsor regarding extenuating circumstances. Appropriate election timelines and procedures for “signing up” to have the name placed on a ballot are posted in the main office and communicated to students during daily announcements. Elections are usually held in May for grades 10-12 and at the beginning of the school year for incoming freshmen.

The PHS choirs will present a “Champions and Heroes” themed concert on Tuesday, October 2nd. The concert will be presented in the Weger Fine Arts Building on the PJH campus beginning at 6:30pm. The event is free of charge. Enjoy this great opportunity to hear each of the secondary choirs present one song each as well as combined choir performances. A special guest appearance by “The Cool Kids Choir” from the PHS Life Skills Class is also scheduled.
