Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics with Concentration in Secondary Education
I teach Algebra 1 and Algebra 1 Honors. This will be my 9th year with the district and 5th year at Paris High School.
I started my career in education as a paraprofessional. I worked at Decatur High School for 3 years in their Content Mastery Center. After moving to Paris, I was privileged to work in their Content Mastery Center at Paris High School for 2 years. I went back to school to obtain my degree and certification. I returned to the district for the 2013-2014 school year and taught 7th grade math lab. I moved up the following year and taught 8th grade math and pre-algebra. I moved once again and have taught Algebra 1 ever since.
I am married to Eddie LaRue. He is the Network Administrator/Technology Supervisor for Paris Independent School District. We have four beautiful children. Our oldest is starting his senior year in high school and we welcomed our youngest this past April. We also have Maisy Grace our two year old Miniature Schnauzer.
I like to read, create crafts (especially with my Cricut), watching old series on Netflix, and spending time with my family.
