¡Bienvenidos a Español 1!

Spanish 1 is an introductory class to Spanish culture, history, and language. In this class you will learn basic grammar concepts, how to speak in the present tense, about Hispanic countries and their cultures, and develop a foundation in the Spanish language. Some of the vocabulary topics we will cover are: greetings, the alphabet, numbers 0-100, classroom objects, weather, days of the week, months of the year, foods, verbs, telling time, and more! You will also learn how to conjugate verbs, write sentences, and learn about some festivals!

My family is my world! My husband and I have been married for 26 years. We have 3 wonderful children. Our oldest, Hannah, graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and is currently teaching at Paris High School. What a blessing that is to get to teach on the same hallway with my daughter! Our other two children, Brandon and Madelyn, are students at Ouachita Baptist University. We love doing things together. I am from Arkansas but love living here with my family!
