Math Teacher
I grew up in Sachse, Texas and attended North Garland High School in Garland, Texas. I went to college at Richland Community College in Richardson, Texas and then went on to attend Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois.
I earned an Associates degree in Arts and Science at Richland Community College and then earned a Bachelors Degree in Education at Roosevelt University. I have a certificate in Mathematics and Special Education.
I love to use technology in the classroom. For the last couple years I have tried to learn EVERYTHING Google. In 2017, I was priveledged to be a presenter at the Region 10 Tech Conference on Differentiating in the Classroom using Google Forms. I attended the amazing TI Calculator Conference in 2018 and several more TI Calculator PDs at Region 8.
This will be my 6th year with Paris ISD. I will be teaching Algebra 1 and Honors Algebra 2 at Paris High School.
I am also the UIL Coordinator at the High School and mathematics, calculator, and number sense coach.
I began my teaching career in Chicago, Illinois at McHenry High School. I taught mathematics at Sulphur Springs High School and at Wilson Middle School in Plano, Texas.
I am married to Michael Anthony, who teaches at Paris High. We have been married for 8 years. We both have 4 kids each. They are all grown and out of the house except one. We have 7 grandchildren that we try to see as much as possible.
I like to read, watch Hulu, and play the piano. My husband and I like to go fishing and watch the Dallas Cowboys.
