As a 1989 graduate from Prairiland High School, I recieved a quality education from so many teachers. English was, and still is, my favorite subject. Monda Fults and Bill Mosley fostered this love with rich literature and vocabulary. This provided me witht the proper tools as I entered Paris Junior College, and continuing my education at Texas A&M, Commerce, graduating in 1997. Furthermore, I chose to extend my learning at Lamar University.

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Melanie Coker. I married my husband, Kevin, on September 28, 2020. This year we will celebrate three years of marriage. Being an only child, it was fitting that I only have, you guessed it, one child! For 30 years, I have been blessed to be his mom. He makes me smile, and always keeps me on my toes. He teaches English in Texarkana. Colt has provided me with three, beautiful grandchildren: Elliot (7,) Lucy (6,) and Leland (4.) An added blessing last October, Fritz, a black and white chihuahua, entered our world. He’s my baby, and I receive snuggles from him everyday!
