Welcome to my little section of the worldwide web! I teach science and this year I will be teaching Honors and Regular Physics. I am also one of the Advisors of the National Honor Society. This is my 26th year teaching high school and I love teaching my students (or anyone) about science! Get ready to have fun and learn!!!! I dare you.....
A little about me: I graduated from Paris High School and Paris Junior College. I received my BS in Broadfield Science from Texas A&M-Commerce and then completed my MS in Physics at Texas A&M-Commerce. I am currently working toward my Ph.D. in Science Education with an emphasis on Secondary Science Education. I usually spend most of my summers as a presenter in teacher workshops such as those offered by NASA, NOAA, and the Texas Mining and Reclamation Association (TMRA).
I am a lifelong resident of Paris. I have two children and they both graduated from Paris High. Tyler (Class of 2006) is a Paramedic/Firefighter in Jacksonville, Texas. Trenton (Class of 2008) is a Doctor of Chiropractic in the Dallas area. I also have new daughters-in-law, Bethany and Kelly! Both of my boys were members of the Football team and in the PHS Choral Department.
I have 2 dogs who are like my children. I collect rocks, arrowheads, and science stuff in general. I love any form of science and I hope that I can show you how to appreciate it too!
